                 Welcome to St. John's website

We are a congregation that seeks to be a fountain of life for all who gather here and a river of compassion for the world.  We as the church gather for worship and then scatter for service in the places of influence God leads us into.  In this time God's Holy Spirit is gathering us around various forms of media while we shelter in our homes.  We are discovering our worship is not confined by building or space but in the calm places we construct in our homes for a time on Sundays.  In this time God's Holy Spirit is also leading and guiding us to love our neighbor in new and life-giving ways.  Please join us as we lead worship remotely on Facebook Live.  Look for resources for asistance listed below.  Included in the list are also ways healthy people can reach out.  Thank you for your financial support of St. John's.  Go to the "Give" tab above for options of how you can make a difference.

          Sunday, January 24th at 8:15 a.m.

Please be patient with us, we are using a new camera system, which also should enhance our sound on Facebook Live.

                        St. John's Year in Review

Seeing Jesus in 2020 was not an easy task for many of us.  It was a hard, unprecedented year of isolation, loss and complexities. It was easy to lose sight ,of where Jesus was, but Jesus has never left us.  He was there all along, leading, comforting and helping us to be the church in hard times.  Let's take a look at those ways we came to be together is last year with a photo video.  Click the link below for the YouTube video.

         "Together in Ministry" Media Ministry

We have a wonderful opportunity to share with Eau Claire and the surrounding communities our Sunday worship service on both TV and radio on the first and third Sunday's every month.  We share the ministry with Grace Lutheran Church.  You can watch this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on WQOW, the ABC affiliate in Eau Claire.  The audio version will air on WAYY radio, 790 on the AM dial at 8:30 a.m.

Ways to Help or Get Help in the Eau Claire Community in Times of Crisis

People are in need of your help!  It could be as simple as running to the store for milk or something as serious as giving blood.  We have put together a list of orgainzations in the Eau Claire area that are in need of your help or if you are in need they are there for you.  We also have a booklet in the entry way at church that is called "Helping Hands" that gives great ideas of places to go if you need assistance.  Just know that you are not alone and people in the community and at church are here to help.
