St. John’s Lutheran Church is a people formed in the waters of Christian baptism to be a fountain of life for all who gather here, overflowing into a river of compassion for the world.

What is the first thing you notice when you walk into a church? The first thing you should encounter in a Christian church is the love of God in Jesus Christ. If that is not plainly visible, then the rest of what happens in there doesn’t really matter. We at St. John’s constantly experience the love of God in Jesus Christ. We try to reflect that love by being a fountain of life for everyone who comes through our doors. We strive to share that love by letting it flow into the community and the world.

St. John’s is not a place for people who are perfect. It is a place to experience forgiveness, renewal, community, love, and hope. Come on in, the water’s fine!

St. John's has parking for those with disabilities in our north parking lot (behind the church). In the far left corner, there is a door with an elevator sign, please enter through this door.

For those who are hard of hearing, St. John's has a T-coil hearing loop system in the worship area. There are also headsets available for use. If you prefer, you may bring your own personal ear buds or headset.

St. John's Choir rehearsals begin again August 30 at 7 p.m., and YOU want to be there.

There are a lot of artistic and fun things planned for this season. This group is open to all who love to sing and praise God doing so.

Blessing of the Backpacks
August 23
6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

ImageFall finds many people returning to the classroom. Bring your backpack and receive a blessing for the year ahead. We will have a giant Luther Rose Lego Kit we will be assembling! Come join in the fun.

An offering of school and health supplies will be collected for Lutheran World Relief Kits and Locust Lane Elementary School.

In response to our synod passing a resolution repudiating the Doctrine of Discovery, the Lay School of Ministry (LSM) has planned an entire year of study open to LSM graduates.

Also, LSM will be starting enrollment for their fall semester.

From Conflict to Communion

Reformation Prayer service on Sunday, October 29, at 4 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish with a dinner following at St. John's Lutheran Church.

This community wide prayer service will bring together choirs, clergy, and laity from many of the area's Lutheran and Catholic parishes - to commemorate the Jubilee year together.

Media Ministry

St. John's is excited to be part of  the media ministry - "Together In God". We have a wonderful and great opportunity to share with Eau Claire and the surrounding communities our Sunday worship services on both radio and television the first & 3rd Sundays of every month.
